Anyone ever heard the
Matt Savage Trio?
I ran across his name while watching a television show on savants. Matt is a 14 year old savant that relatively suddenly learned to the play the piano around the age of 7. Like most savants, he appears to have a (less severe) form of autism, but is brilliant when it comes to jazz piano - both performing and composing. I haven't listened to the demo tracks on his website yet, but the profile I saw showed him positively blistering the piano keys.
I was curious as to whether anyone was familiar with him and had any comments or particular album recommendations.
