Hello,

   I have some tubed products to be made for myself and I would like to know what cost effective parts or components. That I could ask to  have installed in place of/in/on the stock amplifier or pre-amplifier???  Any suggestions with out going overboard and re-designing the whole thing? (which might not be a bad idea) Would also like to know why and what to expect!! If you care too!!! I do not have a diagram or schematic to work from, but it is a lower end product of 35 and 50 watts per channel and the pre is just a standard tube line stage!! As always, all the best!!

Nice signal input caps are a simple and affordable device to improve.  Products such as Auricap, Sonicap, Jensen and Mundorf usually (always in my experiences) result in noticeable improvements.  Mundorf silver in oil are my current favs for the money.  Also, I heard nice things about Dynamicaps, although I haven't tried those yet.  And then there are the Sonicap Platinums for more $$$.  There are lots of choices and price ranges.

Spend some cash on tubes as well.  Good tubes can make a big difference in performance.

Have fun - modest, well designed tube amps can be sooo good to you.
