I will be working on a small project in couple of days from now.... still waiting for parts to come in
Since I will need an enclosure for this project. My plane for this small cheap project is to fine a small metal for it... maybe a cookie box or somthing like that.
The other possibility is clear acrylic enclosure.... I think it would be pretty.
With this it go me thinking about differnt type of enclosures...
Isn't the use of traditional metal type enclosures is to keep the EMI/RFI out of the electronic inside right? But then why some companies of well regraded components chose to ues acrylic or even glass for thier enclosure?
For example the darTZeel with it glass top plate cover....
And the ASR with all arylic enclosure.... but the separated power supply is metal...
But since I want to keep my upcoming project cheap and simple. Maybe I will just stick with a cookie box
Anyway.... So what do you think about this different type of enclosure?
