I went back to my fixture and I realized that the D/A chip was an older version, the AK4394. I guess I have not heard the AK4396 yet. Sorry for the knee-jerk reaction.
AK4394 is not even remotely close to the AK4395, not to talk about the AK4396 which has the World's most advanced Delta-Sigma modulator (patented).
Maybe we should re-try our shootout at CES. Will you have your new DAC there?
Honestly, I doubt I will go to this CES. It will be during weekdays and Alexis Park will be closed. Large number of people are not attending so I think I'll pass too. But I will take you up on the offer for the "shootout" in the future.
I would like to see if my Spoiler is worth the extra money.
It would be interesting indeed!
