Just about everyone. Dell, IBM, Gateway, HP, Sony, eMachine makes a quality pc for $1K. Whichever you pick is just a matter of personal taste. I build my own PC so I get to pick which component I want to install like SCSI HDDs as an example.

Check for Dell and HP deals here.
www.gotapex.com
www.xpbargains.com
Special deals can result in savings of up to $200 on $1000 purchase.
If you want to buy from a retail store check
www.salescircular.com
although recently they have been having a difficult time getting their entries to match what's in the Sunday circular for a given store.
Happy shopping.
