Just ran across this at YouTube. Its James Carter and Joshua Redman with a big band at Carnegie Hall doing their interpretation of Monks,
Straight No Chaser
.
This is good stuff if you are a traditional Jazz fan.

Ohh....I forgot to mention, that IS a smokin' hot video. Thanks for the heads up.
I've recently "discovered" Joshua Redman through a buddy of mine. I was doing some searching here to see if anybody else was raving about him like I am.

+1! Joshua Redman rocks. Mood Swing is a fantastic album, and the album insert has a foreword written by him. He is a very prolific Harvard grad to boot.

The problem with jazz is that it produced 7 minutes of music worth listening to every 10 year or so
