There are two PMC IB1's for sale right now,but a horizontal version of each(I did not know that PMC made such a version).The finish is the studio style of cabinet.I see no reason why one of these would not work for a center channel.Do you?
I would be Interested in one to match my IB1's(although mine are in black ash).Would any one else be Interested in the other?

My IB1-C has the tweeter and mid on the right.

After looking at the PMC brochure, it also looks like the BB5 Active's drivers are different from the BB5.
It looks like the active uses the smaller midrange and aligns the drivers off center.

Yes and no.
Speakers are Identical,but one is right aligned and one is left aligned.As for sound,there should be no difference.

Passive BB5 uses the same tweeter as all the other passive PMC's.
The Active BB5, MB2 and AML-1 use a different tweeter.
Mids on the passive and active BB5 and MB2 are the same.
