Locating 12V AC/DC adapter for RWA SB2
« on: 28 Sep 2006, 10:46 pm »
I recently asked Vinnie to add the AC/DC switch so that the SB2 can run off either SLA battery (rechargeable) or AC via an adapter.  Anyone has been using the SB2 in this manner, please share information as to where I can get such adapter.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Paul,

If you are looking for a linear, regulated 12V supply, this one will do the trick and it is not expensive:

I recommend a supply that can output at least 2-amps.  This one is rated for 3-amps.

BTW, I provide a 12V wall-wort supply.  It is an inexpensive switch-mode power supply, but works perfectly fine when you are not critically listening.  This might be all you need.

Best regards,

Vinnie

Please do.  Glad I asked.

Thanks Vinnie for both the pointer and the 12V wall-wart supply.
