Hi Guys,

I'm getting together a video system for my son Alex (so that he'll leave mine alone,  hehehe).
Anyway,  obviously I have most component for him,  except for a SSR or processor.   Don't have an exact idea as to what model,  after all,  he's 13.

Hi Klaus,

Can you give any more details of what you might be looking for?  For instance, do you have a particular (approximate) price range in mind that you're looking for here?  Or alternatively, could you give an idea what you would be looking to trade so interested parties can guess if they have something that might fit the bill?  Are there any specific features you're looking for in the unit that MUST be there?

  How about this Panasonic XR-57 for less than $300. There's a huge thread over on AVSforum with good reviews. I'm thinking about picking up one for myself too.
