Hi Guys:
I purchased my United airline tickets on Sept. 10th. Cost $258. Round trip from Oakland Ca.
Today just for the heck of it I checked United's price again. Now those same ticketd are $376!!!
I don't get it? I know fuel prices have gone down and the airline industry is cutting back trying to survive. Why are they gouging their customers?
Oh Well!!!
Let's see here. It looks like I saved about $118. buying the tickets in Sept. Hey!!! That's good!! More $$$$ to spend in the Great divide pub. Good!!

Anyone I met two years ago, if I act 'stupid' when we meet again, please have patience. I'm old.

Hope everyone has a safe trip and the drive across Kansas is shorter than I remember it.

By all means, I guess the 'Be Prepared' they branded into my brain in Scouts really stuck, huh?

Yah, as long as I'm paying for the gas, why not eh? Since I'm travelling alone this time, I've got even MORE room and I've been eyeing up my microwave and sizing it up....

Thank God that 75lb 21" monitor died and got replaced with a flat panel!
And maybe more room to bring something home....

This will be my first RMAF. Looking forward to meeting some people from AC!

Unlike DeadFish; I will not be bringing a computer; big honkin' monitor; or microwave. I'm even considering leaving my cell phone at home.

I will be there earlier...got an early flight out of Nashville and with the time change...will arrive in Denver around 9:05 am. Prolly be at the hotel for brunch; then take in a few rooms starting at noon.

I'll be ready for a beer around 4:00, though.

And if you have a bit too much on Friday night, there is a very good breakfast joint a few blocks from the Hotel, plenty of coffee and some pancakes will fix you right up.

Mike....That pancake house is very good. Just a short walk south from the hotel. I went there Sunday morning last year....after a Saturday nite at the Buckhorn....Pints Pub....and another bar just across from Pints Pub. (Pints Pub closes early...not like in NY...
