An opportunity came up to try a Reali-T via a trade with Ebag4. I got this Reali-T (which has been through a few AC members systems):

All I can say is WOW! What a great sounding unit, especially for the price. It does make me wonder how much better it could be with the Monica instead of the DACkit. Anyway, it is "stupid good" for the money I have in it.

Currently I'm just using a Sony DVP-NS775 for CD transport duties. My Resolution Audio Opus 21 interestingly has digital inputs, but no digital out. Anyone noticed a difference when using a "quality" transport with this type of setup vs. just using a good DVD player? Also, I'm using the stock digital cable that Vinnie supplies with the unit. Anyone tried a more expensive cable like maybe the Stereovox?

I'm currently using the Reali-T to drive a pair of speakers that use the Hemp Acoustics FR8.0DIY drivers. here's a link to my speakers (I bought the actual pair reviewed in Ultra-Fi Times):

Sorry for the ramble, but ultimtely I just wanted to say "great job" to Vinnie and thank you to Ed (Ebag4) for the trade.

Enjoy,

TIC

Hi Tom:
I am glad the Reali-T is working out for you, it really is "stupid good" for the price.  It does an amazing job with single driver speakers.

The VMB-1s are working themselves into my system very nicely as well and the additional wattage will come in handy as I am looking at using a BSC with my B200s.

Best,
Ed

I have the Reali-T with the Monica, and it is indeed stupid good, and unbelievably smooth with the SuperHemps.

Great snag, have fun. Larry really liked his time with those speakers..
