Hi music lovers,
Let me start by thanking Bob and Jason for walking that extra mile, and
mobilizing the energy and personel in order to get the speakers ready for the show.
Kudos to you gents, and to your crew.
It should be said the speakers where only 2.5 days old, before having to enter the stage
and shoot sharp

The room was great for projection of images (totaly painted black, with even black felt floor)
but from a sound point of view it was a pain in the neck. We installed lots of room treatment (bas traps, absorbers and deflectors)
which helped a lot, but could not totaly remove the effects of thin fibre boards that the walls where made of. (the room was built inside a large hall)
All in all, we managed together with Wiktors (importers of projectors and Stewart screens) to create a whole experience combining image and sound.
Even if we, did not feel that the sound was as good as we got it in our test rooms back home, still the response was very positive. Somewhere along the line one must accept that some things are out of ones control (difficult for audio control freaks

)
We will be back on the stage for the next home theater show in Stockholm, and this time around we will be having much better rooms.
Regarding the Blue Man, Kylie and Cher: well it started by demo of 1080p material, that was trailers and other small film samples, but since this was a VIP show, and Single Malt, wine and beer was flowing freely, it shortly turned into a musical party. So, in went recorded concerts by Blue Man group, Kylie, Cher, Madonna etc. Needless to say, it was a long night

The subs we where using for this specific show came from Velodyne (two 12 inch subs, with built in calibration tools)
More pix will follow.
Best regards
