CDWG Question
« on: 6 Sep 2006, 12:46 am »
Hi Folks,

I've been noticing that the CDWGs on my RM30s have a tendency to bow out a bit. I typically just press the guide flat (until the pins seem to hold it in place) but the bow always seems to return.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Have you found any fixes?

Brian/John, I'm assuming that this would also affect the sound?

Thanks for any input.

Trick is to make the male faster a little fatter.  A daub of glue should do the trick.  Epoxy works best.  Apply about a 1 mm layer of glue to the fastener, allow to dry overnite, and it will grip like crazy.
