I've ordered a roll of RAAMmat (
http://www.raamaudio.com/products.htm), which is a competitor to Dynamat. This is a peel-and-stick dampening material that is much cheaper than Dynamat. It's used to reduce vibration in your door panels and other surfaces in your car. Sort of like reducing cabinet resonance of your speakers in home audio.
My RAAMmat is scheduled for delivery next Wednesday along with my new speakers, so if anyone is interested, I'll post a review of some kind.
I was able to get the 62.5 square foot roll from a dealer on sale for $79. Shipping expenses bumped that to just over $100 (California to Alabama).
