Did the CDWGs for the RM40s ship from MLS on August 23 as expected?

Couldn't you just use the level controls to get another 1.5 dB increase in the midrange?  I guess I don't understand what the "winding/unwinding" aspect of this is. I take it you're referring to removing or adding material (ie, windings) to the inductor?  Are you physically changing crossover points/slopes?

B, hand winds, and un-winds, the coils to his "ear".  In the shop he also peals the caps to a very specific tolerance, that he feels improves the sound.
