B&W (BOWERS & WILKINS) "Very Audiophile New Recordings"

I have the 180g vinyl but it is also available on SACD. Sara K. singing "Turn My Upside Down" has the most incredible imaging of any album I've ever heard. That and it's just a real catchy tune. This direct metal master vinyl is some of the best produced vinyl I own. Not only sonically but it plays quiet right out of the sleeve. This is now my demo album for when people come over. Good stuff.

If you like female vocalists, try k.d. lang, "Ingenue"

I've never listened to it on solid state, but tubes in triode......breathtaking, both the recording and the music.

Hi, good to see you're a vinyl fan :)

If you have a look at my website below, you'll see a few nice recordings. If you'd like to add a few more... ;)

Btw, they don't always have to be 'audiophile' recodings. Some normal records will sound as good as or better. Look for the mastering engineer. Try Robert Ludwig or Steve Hoffman.
