Dear James,

Check this: http://www.bryston.com then if you go to "bryston amplifiers" I get this: http://www.hifitrader.com/dbprogram6.php?searchquery=Bryston&OVRAW=bryston%20amplifiers&OVKEY=bryston%20amplifier&OVMTC=standard

I think it is no good for a quality product like Bryston it get sold online like this for such a low Prices that are unfair for any competion.

And how is it possible they may use the "bryston" domain name...:(

I just want to inform you in case you didn't know yet.

Best Regards,
Bas

To any potential Bryston customers,

To my knowledge as a consumer, Bryston products are only sold through authorized dealers.  Internet sales are invalid.  I find it difficult to believe that someone would  purchase a product as good as a Bryston and invalidate the 20 year warranty just to save a few hundred $$$.

Hi,

Hi-Fi Trader is not an authorized Bryston dealer -  he also has about a dozen other names he uses "Home Theater" etc. Be careful.

Bryston.ca is the official Bryston website.

Hi James, Where is Hi-Fi trader acquiring Bryston products from if he is not an authorized dealer?  Is this traceable with serial numbers?

Sometimes these types of dealers say they can get product  - you make the deposit or full payment and then they attempt to switch you to another product.

If he does get any unauthorized product from an unscrupulous dealer then the serial number can be used to trace what dealer first purchased the unit.

Their website is scary. They don't seem to have a showroom. They have pictures of the axiom audio line, which of course is available directly from the manufacturer.

I've seen that happen even at local shops (take a deposit for something they can't get) that don't operate with the best integrity.  There's a dealer who is about 25 miles from where I live in a neighboring state who pulled that one too many times on one too many people apparently.  I heard from a reliable source that many years back he had people waiting for him in the parking lot with baseball bats.  The internet has made such situations more common.

Are these signs authorized ?

First time I have seen those Jethro. The 'stuff' under 'Bryston Stuff" on the website is what we authorize.
