Vinnie's modified Symphony just arrived in Cyprus. With the time delay, I figured I might catch a computer-literate early (or late) bird before Vinnie pops into the office.
I'm using an ADSL modem/router for my high-speed Internet access here. It's wired rather than wireless system. As per the Olive's owner's manual, connecting to the router via Ethernet cable should prompt an auto-recognize protocol to launch the on-line menu that replaces the smaller display on the unit proper once the proper ISP address has been entered into the browser. Well - no matter what, I can't get it to happen. Which is not to say I'm the sharpest pencil in the drawer when it comes to networking et al. Flintstone meets the rocket age...
Can anyone here talk me thru the steps?
