Hey hey, just for the fun of it I thought I'd show you my fun toy that is giving me mucho pleasure these days.  I bought the RWA SB2 as one of my goal was to have something I could cary around the house and in the garden. So below you will see a couple of pictures of my "transportable" headphone system! I've got a battery driven RedWineAudio Squeezebox2 with RaySamuelsAudio XP-7 headphone amp in a small transportable rack I just made. Haven't decided on the exterior finish of the rack yet but you'll get the picture. Mucho fun to sit in the garden with this little kit and not have to worry about power cable!  On top of it, the RWA SB2 sounds really, but really good.  I sold my CD player this week because I wont need it anymore, the RWA SB2 is a winner.  When I listen to it in my speaker system I connect its digital out into my MHDT Paradisea DAC.

Anyway, thanks again to Vinnie for this fantastic sounding and mucho fun battery driven SB2.

Sweet Loftprojection!

If Ferrari Red is too bold for you, how about a nice Rosso(i) di Montalcino

Hey, maybe my next project will be to make the ultimate transportable speaker system!  The RWA SB2 feeding a Sig30 and some small bookshelfs into a "transportable" rack!  Well I'm sure this would kill Steve Jobs ipod Hi-Fi gizmo!  haha

The Signature 30 + AKG K1000 headphones seems to be getting quite popular (lots of emails about this combo)!  The modded iPod + Sig 30 (or Clari-T) has fantastic synergy and this is what I'd call portable.

Hi Loftprojection,

It won't be hard to kill Steve Job's "baby"

Check this one out:

I'd love to give them a listen!  If they can be powered on SLA battery, they can be portable...just add your RWA modded SB2 and you'll be set! :-)

Cheers!

Vinnie

Don't worry, I have no interest in building a big boom box, I was just joking around!

Yes there is growing buzz at head-fi about the Sig30 feeding AKG K1000.  Man, if head-fiers discover your products, be prepared for the next step, you will need a full fledge manufacturing plant.  I told you before, your next step is headphone amps!   :icon_lol:
