Isn't strange how you just can't draw a correlation from other people's experience? Of the ones I tried, I like Audiophile APS1050, EA15A then Haley in that order. Others had preferred Haley over EA15A in the same room. So, go figure. I liked Felicia on sources in my room very much as well. That would indicate that BPT would be good in my room as well, but I never tried it because I had heard that it could choke my big tube amps. Ultimately, APS unit so far is the only one I tried that does not constrict my amps. I would recommend it except for a little hum that I can hear from 8 ft away when I am not playing anyting. This doesn't bother me as I don't hear it when I am playing anything but I think I am in a slightly bigger room than you. On the conditioning front, it's the best I tried. I also like the UPS feature.
Myself and a few others went from a BPT 3.5 Sig to Running Springs Audio (Haley).George
The Audience Adept sounds pretty good but expensive.
