For my 2 channel system I presently have a Consonance CD120 upsampling CD player, a Conrad Johnson PV14L tube preamp, & of course Frank's wonderfull OmegaStar 440EX amp feeding a pair of AAD 2001 monitors. I am extremely happy with the musical performance of the system at present. But one is always looking to raise the bar so to speak. Just curious if anyone has heard the ULTRA DAC & what did it do to improve your system, if any. Again I am not unhappy in the least with my present system but just asking if the DAC would really benefit me & in what way?

Hey, The Absolete Sound really liked it and the OmegaStar DAC too, well probably not as much as their latest $10,000 wonder, but if I had $10,000 extra to spend on music, my first choice would be season tickets to great seats at the orchestra.
