My first post here!
I'm really getting into the mods stuff/DIY. I've upgraded/modded 5 sets of speaker crossover networks with great results and am currently in the process of modifying my EAD CD player.
The problem that I've run into with my EAD and Plinius units is, the manufacturer will not release the schematics (even though they have been out of production for years). With my EAD CD player, I was able to identify the caps and diodes that probably should be replaced. The problem is that I might be replacing a cap or two that doesn't really do a whole lot for me (e.g. replacing the caps on the digital out when I'm not using it as a transport).
I would feel more confident with modifying my Plinius 8100 if I had the schematic or if someone had advice to give.
