A New (old) Acoustics Manufacturer
« on: 2 Aug 2006, 02:08 pm »
Our company, SRL, has been around for 30 years!  Our lengthy involvement in the recording studio field has yielded a zen that is unmistakeable to our designs.  We have designed numerous facilities, and in the past year have developed our own line of absorption and diffusion modules.  Pictures of a recent acoustic treatment of 3 control rooms and a studio may be found at www.srlaudio.com.....We have also completed a control room treatment at Streeterville Productions in Nashville.  The most exciting breakthrough is our diffusor modules.  These are true Shroeder quadratic residue in design, ranging in size from 2ftX8ft, 4ftX6ft, 2ftX6ft, and 4ftX8ft.  They are covered with Guilford of Maine grill cloth, and lend themselves in an excellent way to audio control rooms, studios, rehearsal spaces, concert halls, churches, and home theaters.  We have priced them lower than anything that compares while at the same time sacrificing NOTHING in performance.  We welcome any questions and the opportunity to transform your space.......

Welcome to AC.  So, what introductory pricing would you offer for your difussors?  PM me if you have really low price -- I can keep a secret.

Could you provide us with some basic information.
And a loaded question might be how does your Diffusor (s)
compare & contrast with others on the market?  I'm not looking
for a Bash The Competition  sort of answer....just an honest
assessment of you take on the laws of Physics & econmics
is addressing acoustical diffusion.

Thanks

srl, (don't know to whom I am talking to)  I moved this topic to Industry ads because that's what it is.  Now you can post as many links as you want

I do ask a couple of things:
1.  A name in you sig would be nice.
2.  All manufacturers are welcome to put links to their websites in their sigs.
3.  Please identify your self as a manufacturer in your sig.
4.  You are free to post any selling info in the Industry ads section.
5.  You are free to respond to any posts in any circle if you have helpful information. (warning:  do not get too involved promoting your products unless specifically asked).

following these rules helps manufacturers become a part of our community by helping/informing vs. pushing products.

BTW, Glenn was drawing out the above rules in a light mannered way.  I think you owe him a beer.

Hey, what happened to the FAQ that describes the forum rules for manufacturers/dealers/industry-folks?  I can't find it...seems to have disappeared in transition to this new forum software...
