All,

Thank you very much for sharing in our excitement!!!

Well of course I know how "it happened"  (I was just trying to be funny and used that smiley face to signify this)...  :green:  :green:  :green:

This picture explains it, right?

Can we expect a SLA powered bottel warmer to come soon?

Absolutely, Woodsyi!   I'll need to start the R&D for that this Fall.

Thanks again, everyone!

Good luck Vinnie, kids are a big change, but a ton of fun too!  Just not the late hours...

Have 2 myself now, both still under 3, so I really know!

CONGRATS!

Vinnie,
Congratulations!!!
And let this be a lesson to you. Time away from your work bench can have dire consequences. Your listening habits are about to change forever. In fact, Red Wine will probably be displaced from your home.
And you won't mind a bit. I was amazed that a selfish jerk like me would so willingly give up whatever was necessary for the kids when they came into my life. In fact, I'm still doing it. The older they get, the more it costs. Better gear up.

Well maybe not, its about time Vinnie ventures into the headphone market.  After the Sig30, here comes the SigHead, I'm sure it would be a hit on head-fi!  And by the way, Srajan is a headphone lover himself so he could write a sequel to the Sig30...

Congrats Vinnie.

When my kids were in their first year or two, they were really scared of any music with wide dynamic range.  And if you pick up a copy of "Three Little Pigs", and you have flawless imaging in your system, be prepared for the kids to go running when that wolf gets ready to huff and puff...

Vinnie:
Congrats...From the research files and from the Institute for Stork Research and Science:
Two different theories exist concerning the origin of children: the theory of Sexual reproduction, and the theory of the stork. Many people believe in the theory of sexual reproduction because they have been taught this theory at school. In reality, however, many of the world's leading scientists are in favor of the theory of the stork. If the theory of sexual reproduction is taught in schools, it must only be taught as a theory and not as the truth. Alternative theories, such as the theory of the stork, must also be taught.

Evidence supporting the theory of the stork includes the following:

1. It is a scientifically established fact that the stork does exist. This can be confirmed by every ornithologist.

2. The alleged human fetal development contains several features that the theory of sexual reproduction is unable to explain.

3. The theory of sexual reproduction implies that a child is approximately nine months old at birth. This is an absurd claim. Everyone knows that a newborn child is newborn.

4. According to the theory of sexual reproduction, children are a result of sexual intercourse. There are, however, several well documented cases where sexual intercourse has not led to the birth of a child.

5. Statistical studies in the Netherlands have indicated a positive correlation between the birth rate and the number of storks. Both are decreasing.

6. The theory of the stork can be investigated by rigorous scientific methods. The only assumption involved is that children are delivered by the stork.

There you have it folks, even Vinnie's wife, Jenn, is another 'satisfied' customer. May the new arrival bring even more joy and satisfaction as you have provided us with your electrical creations. Now about that bottle warmer, I think a National Semiconductor opamp is in order.

 Congrats Vinnie,
The last time my wife "nagged" me into having a baby (another baby), we ended up hearing two heart beats at the first ultrasound. I think my heartbeat was 280 when I found out. She called me at work when I was running an automotive garage. My boss gave me the rest of the day off.
That was 8 years ago. I took a year off of work to stay home with my little ones. Best thing I ever did. Children will change your life. Welcome to the world of a new happiness.

Vinnie,

A belated congratulations to you and Jen.  Children and a loving family are a truly wonderful blessing in life.  Best wishes on your nine month journey to delivery, then the fun really begins.  Try catching up on your sleep now, you'll need it.

Best wishes,

congratuations. One quick note (tonge in cheek) infants and audiohilia do not mix well.  Or maybe because I was stupid enough to have twins!

Or a more serious side. I found for some reason that van morrison's astral weeks to be an excellent soother for crying babies.

Also good thing your not a tube designer-kiddies and tubes dont mix

Hi Vinnie,

We're very excited and happy for you and Jen.  Congratulations indeed!  Take it from a grandfather of 3, there's nothing like the early years.  Enjoy every moment.
