Very interesting review. It's too bad Winslow doesn't have more than one speaker with this approach. I would gladly pay more for less bass, a bit more refinement on the top end, a veneer cabinet, and spikes.

The idea that you can actually have a speaker that doesn't need to be 3 feet from the walls that one can listen to without one's head in a vice is audio blasphemy.
Winslow was in fact the designer of the Energy 22 and involved with Nuance (they seemed a bit shady as a firm. When I listened to their speakers at the Montreal show one year they tried to put the hard sell on me)

Any other Burhoe fans out here? I am still the owner of a pair of Burhoe Crimsons and like them alot but they are showing their age.
