Tonight I was listening to Suzanne Vega's "Nine Objects of Desire" and Eleanor McEvoy's "Yola" and started thinking that the two had similar voices and that depedning on the song they could really sound very similar.

Just curious if anybody else hears it that way.

Either way, both are excellent and a joy to listen to.

Highly recommend both cd's.

I listen to 'em both in the same playlist, though usually not directly next to each other, and I can't say as I've noticed it, but I'm listening to Eleanor McEvoy's self-titled album and "Songs in Red And Gray" from Vega, instead of the 2 you listed.
