Just wondering if anyone has heard "Globe Sessions" on both formats, that being reglar c.d. and sacd hybrid. I have the regular disc, but would like to know if there is a big difference on the "redbook" layer of the hybrid! Thanks, Huck 8)

I have it on DVD-A and regular CD.   The surround mix isn't that agressive if your into such things.   As to the difference in stereo?  Yes the hi rez is more detailed.  Warmer.

Thanks 3bean! I am interested in only the stereo layer, as I don't have an sacd player, so what other "hybrids" have good  stereo layer, as opposed to it's "normal" formatted counterpart, in the rock genre?. I have a couple of CCR (hybrid sacd's) titles, which sound pretty good, considering the technology back then! Thanks, Huck :thumb:

Huck, I wish I could answer that for you.  I've never really compared the redbook layers against their counterparts in hi rez.

Have you thought about getting an SACD player or universal player?   They do make some decient one's now for not a whole lot of money.

3Bean: I don't really wanna buy any new gear, so I will just experiment with different titles and formats! Thanks, Huck
