Bugle Pro @ 50dB w/ Lundhal SUT set at 20dB
« on: 20 Jul 2006, 05:06 pm »
Jim or anyone,

My Bugle is at 50dB gain. Are there any issues using a SUT w/ 20dB gain going into the Bugle? Will I overload the Bugle? :?:

Depends on the cartridge used.  You'll have to try it out.  Maybe one of the 0.5mV to 0.8mV crowd could push it a little too far.  Also depends on supply voltage on the BUGLE.

The cartridge is the cultish Denon DL-103 which comes in at .3mV or DL-103R which is .25mV.

You'll probably be ok.  With +/-15V supplies easy.
