Reverse RIAA board
« on: 19 Jul 2006, 02:16 am »
Question for Jim,

I am using the reverse RIAA circuit that comes with the Trumpet to break in the Cornet 2 using my CD player.   In a phono pre, I understand the de-emphasis happening when it receives the signal (boosting the bass and cutting the treble) to compensate for the pre-emphasis that happened cutting the record.  I think :D

So, is it normal to have a very faint bass signal as compared to the mid and high on the above application when CD is the source through the board, to the phono preamp, and then to the linestage?

thanks

Hmmm......it's time to troubleshoot then.

Thanks Jim!
