Yes, very sad indeed.  Complications due to diabetes.  He actuallly passed away this past Friday.  It was just announced today.

I'll always remember sitting around for hours with a few college roommates :smoke: listening to "The Madcap Laughs". Long Gone was a hilarious and tragic track at the same time. You could hear his humour trying to break through the mental deterioration. He was a true original.

I just bought Pulse on DVD, the first track is Shine On You Crazy Diamond.
