This is my set up: music (flac) stored two floors away in a NAS device connected to a wireless router by network cable > WiFi relay one floor away > small WiFi enabled PC on the rack connected to Off Ramp via USB cable > I2S DAC via network cable > preamp > amp > speakers. I run a long cable to a slim monitor viewable from my listening position. I am using a wireless keyboard/mouse to control Foobar. I have a Snapstream Firefly remote that I will use with Foobar but I have not installed it yet. Even with SRC up sampling to 24/96, 802.11g wireless network delivers music without a glitch. Diagnostic shows 48 to 54 Mb transfer rate and dual core processing doesn't miss a beat with up sampling. The set up may seem convoluted, but I like the fact that my noisy 1TB NAS box is out of the room and RAID 5 makes me feel safer. NAS approach also is convenient with the Squeeze Boxes that I have. Since Steve hasn't come out with a wireless I2S interface, this was the best I could do and I am happy with it.
