I had to laugh--'audiophile' USB cables

My favorite snake oil vendor, Audio Advisor, persists in the delusion that I'm going to buy something from them. Either that, or they are making so much yum-yum from the schlock they sling they can afford to keep me current on their mailing list just for the fun of it. Anyway I got a catalog from them and damned if they aren't selling special "6.1% silver" usb cables. You've got to love that .1%. It's the details that count.

Nice....I love looking through that thing. I should ask them to put me back on their list.

I do like thumbing thru the catalog, though.  Pretty pictures... :inlove:

I like Audioadvisor.  They have one of the nicest sales reps in the business.  They have one of the best return policy.  It is good to know if you want to try that silver USB cable

I just like the buxom, brown-haired temptress they use in the photos.  Mmmm.

They understand their target market very well, that's for sure. Witness the 'Vincent' line of components. Normally we buy Chinese-made things to save money.

That may be, but I have as of yet to buy anything from Audio Advisor, fetching hotties or no.  Now if they were selling giclee prints of hot babes wearing headphones and posing next to swanky turntables that would be another story.   Besides, the Chinese already tricked me into giving them my money thanks to Shanling (Mmmm, shiny...)  Vincent doesn't quite cut it.  I must've bought something from them at some point obviously, but I can't remember what it was.  By some miracle I've survived without Cardas RCA jack covers all these years...

I bought a set of Vibrapods from them about 4 years ago and I'm still getting that catalog every month.

Really don't have much to say about Audio advisor. I've bought some gear from them over the years and have been pleased with the way they do business. They have been in business 25 years. They must be doing something right. How many audio firms have come and gone in the past 25 years?

You must be right. And Bose has been around even longer.

That's snarky to be sure, but not really accurate. AA sells at pretty competitive prices for what they sell and offers genuine service.  And unlike B(l)ose, the offer a multitude of brands.
