Love my VTL ST 150 tube amp but trying to get ANY assistance whether be info, parts, emails answered is impossible from that company.Asked basic questions about what kind of MIT caps are used for their somewhat pricey $800 coupling cap upgrade and could not even have that question answered on the phone after email was ignored.I usually don't name names but Bea Lam is the most unhelpful customer service person for any company I've ever owned a product of!!!  :x

Perhaps this is why Luke Manley is VTL and his former wife is Manley Labs.  Excellent customer service there.

Um, that would be his step mother. Eveanna was married to David, Luke's father. Luke is married to Bea Lamm. As for service, I've never had any trouble getting email responses from either Bea or Luke. Other than one time, where a parts order was misplaced at VTL, I've had no problems. And in that case, Bea sent me an extra part for free to make up for the glitch.

let's see -ah yes- getting parts

1) Sent email about  wanting to purchase binding post upgrade to 5 way-no response

2)After a couple of weeks finally got Bea on the phone-order was lost or forgotten for a couple of weeks

3)Was sent wrong part-asked do they want it returned? Yes- asked would I be re-inburst for shipping? got a laugh and a no-

4)NEVER had one email answered-but I was always polite despite that.NEVER had one phone call returned either- come to think of that

Are you shure we're talking about the same Bea? Maybe I 've been dealing with her evil twin all along and just didn't know it .Or maybe I should have said I'm a reviewer with Stereophile or some other big name stereo mag.
