Parts Exress sells these for less than $200/pr so we figured if we couldn't beat them we may as well join em. All of the speaker kits will be designed to use their finished cabinets to simplify the cabinet building side of the kit equation. We will also offer plans for those who wish to cut their own wood.
The first design will be an MTM monitor using a Ribbon tweeter and a proprietary pair of midrange/bass drivers using the Adire XBL motor technology. Dan Wiggins is doing our design so the crossover should be from Dan's school of thought (high order with MCD). Design goals include high efficiency so we can use them with our tube or solid state amps, video shielding for multichannel use and since we have a finished cabinet to work with assembly should be a snap, no special skills or tools to build
Other products on the drawing board:
#1. Complete kit for the DACT CT101 line stages, & CT100 RIAA phono modules.
#2. Complete Amplifier Kit based on the new LC Audio ZAPPulse 2.0 modules. Both integrated two channel and options for multichannel.
#3. Tumult based powered sub (actually this is ready to release... just waiting a few parts) and a smaller 12"-13" cube sub using another propriatary 10" XBL enabled driver + two passive radiators & amp that will follow this fall.
#4. DACT Stepped Attenuator Remote Volume Control! WHooo... finally an easy way to add a remote to a great quality volume control. Thanks to John Chapman at
