Using the measurements similar to those described in Larry Moore's The Ultra Fi Times (Bass Reflex, 90 litres, 15.5 x 28.5 x 17.75 inches), what would be the impact (if any) of placing the port on the front baffle vs the back? I ask because of room placement challenges, and the need to try and avoid having to move the speakers from the wall if using a rear-facing port.

BTW, any Sydney fans out there familiar with the Hemp Acoustics?

Building both and shooting it out is the best way. You can make proto boxes. Or build one box with ports on both the back and front and stuff one port and reverse. This would do it too.
