HagUsb resistors
« on: 25 Jun 2006, 11:50 pm »
I sat down today to build the HagUSB, but when I went though the parts from Digikey I most have unchecked the 110 Ohm and 470 Ohm resistors, so I'm short them. I did a search on RadioShack and it looks like they have a replacement for the 470 Ohm that is 1/4 watt carbon film, but only have a 100 Ohm 1/4 watt carbon film resistor. Can I use the 100 Ohm as a replacement for the 110 Ohm?

Thanks for the help.

Well, you can use 100 ohms, but then the output impedance won't be quite 75 ohm.  I like to get this as close as possible to minimize re-reflections.  Let me know if you need me to send you some.
