AR Master Series F Video Cable

Not sure this is the correct forum, but just wanted to pass along a nice tip I found.

A couple of weels ago I was reading a thread in the Cable Forum @ Audio Asylum concerning the above AR F video cable.

Here is a link to the Audio Asylum thread:

 http://www.audioasylum.com/audio/cables/messages/120896.html

The cable run, in consideration, is from the wall to my Motorola digital cable box. I previously used RG6. My run is 12 ft. The AR Master Series cable comes is various lengths.

For video I run DVI out from the cable box to my 50" Panny plasma. Further for audio I run digital coax out from cable box to my Meridian G68 pre/pro.

After installing the cable, I did not notice any improvement in picture quality, however, there was an immediate and substantial improvement in sound quality. Sound quality improvement was across the board all channels.

I got mine from the following internet vendor, was like $35 including shipping, smooth transaction:

Very worthwhile improvement for little money!

On a related topic, what are you using for DVI or Component Video cables?  Anything special?

Phil,

I run DVI from my Motorola digital cable box directly to my Panny plasma.

I use an AudioQuest DVI-D DV-3 DVI cable. At the time of purchase, was the best DVI cable I could find. I also looked at Wire World.

Look under video cables.

I recently saw that Wire World has brought out a newly designed high end Silver Starlight DVI cable.
