The difference in bullshittiness between Oyaide and Machina Dynamica is that Oyaide is actually creating a quality, overbuilt, albeit mostly pointless product whereas Machina Dynamica is just trying to sell you the contents of your own junk drawer back to you for a price. Oyaide is just taking existing items and executing them using the most expensive manufacturing processes which for most purposes is just total overkill. I also assume Machina Dynamica is a humor-for-profit based business, and I have to admire them for crossing the line I can't bring myself to cross. Neither company is likely to do a whole lot for your sound, but at least with Oyaide you're getting something built right. I mean, they could probably make an expensive bread bag tie if they really wanted to.
I support full-ass manufacturing, it's the marketing blather and silly claims that's bullshit.
