Just wanted to let anyone who has been looking for a pair of monoblocks that Paul from 2baudio is selling his his 100 wpc tube monoblocks for $1299.00 shipping included.   the Caveat is that there are limited quantities and they all have small dents on the back chasis from being dropped  but according to Paul they all play fine and still come with a three year warranty.  I own a pair of these and they are great sounding amps for retail let alone the sale price and knowing Paul I'm fairly certain the dents are pretty small.  I missed out on the Dodd purchase last year but I've been more than happy with these.  I have no affiliation with Paul other then being a satisfied customer and  Just wanted to give anyone in the market for great sounding amps on the cheap a heads up.  www.2baudio.comhttp://

I can imagine the TAD-1000 monoblocks do sound excellent. Just like my BEZ Model T3B 300B SET amp, the TAD-1000 is a modified version of a BEZ Model T9B-2 (model number is seen on Paul's pics), handbuilt in Hong Kong by designer/builder Edmund Lam (aka: Lam Ying Wing) who sells his amps and preamps on eBay (user ID: selogic). At one time Edmund sold a 300B integrated amp under Sophia Electric's nameplate (model unknown to me)...seen it for sale on AudiogoN a few years ago. Seems now that Edmund is also selling his T9B-2s as TAD-1000s under the Tube Audio Design brand name...the TAD-60 (like Paul describes) seems to be an exclusive design by Paul(?) since I've never encountered a BEZ equivalent on Edmund's website: http://www.bezdz.com/. Thanks for the reply.  I knew paul sourced these somewhere from China or like you stated Hong Kong but wasn't aware of many of the details you noted.   I went on ebay and checked the 300B SET amp he is selling and can see the visual similarities between that amp and the TAD 1000's   it looks like a great amp for the price but would be a little concerned with shipping costs, duties etc.. not to mention the amp being damaged in transit and arriving doa , but for the money what the hey, it's still probably a steal as long as it arrives at your doorstep in working order.  Again I'm very happy with the TAD-1000's and anyone looking for tube monoblocks should consider these.

I agree, the TAD-1000s seem to be an excellent value, especially now at these extra low prices! And Edmund Lam seems to do very well selling his own amps/preamps thru eBay (where I bought both mine; can also be seen on my avatar and thru my System Profile). Usually Edmund includes shipping in the BIN price of his auctions and it's very affordable...only drawback is he uses China Post economy (surface) shipping, which literally means "slow boat from China" and each item took over a month to arrive to my house (and my amp was DOA! I contacted Edmund and sent the damaged amp back and had to wait almost 2 months more to recieve my replacement). Maybe someday Edmund and Paul would consider using Paul as a US Distributor for the entire BEZ line, rebadged as TAD...that would be interesting.
