Squeezebox display eyeball read ahead jitter?

Have any of you noticed that when you're paging through items on the display and it's not working very fast that your eyes kinda freak out?  They get trained to follow that fast scrolling text and when it doesn't happen your eyes jump ahead.  It's kind of bizarre, happens to me a lot.   :o

It's worse at lower brightness levels at least to me. If you're not running the brightness very high crank it up and see if it improves. Might help.
