Yeah but I would still rather buy

Because I know it will work nice, and is versatile (you can put it into a computer too)

With this...

Which happens to work awsome, I have one, and I can always upgrade/change/swap harddrives in it

That combo will not be so damn loud, or work so poorly as many pre-made externals do, most of them just suck.

Also because I hate feeling like this from a bunch of turds that literally know nothing at all about computers yet work at a computer store.....

I think it is that WD drive inside - it seems to be a 250 JB drive

As for cases, some work with XP, some seem to not so much. I have lost partitions before, not sure of the sequence of events...

But I am happy so far with this one - it is smaller I think and has a nice little stand with elegant rubber feetlets

This one works right away, no install files or anything. I looked into what hard drive sled to buy.

I would only guess it is a WD if that is the company who is selling it... If not they company who made the unit could of bought cheaper ones from someone else.

You know any drive can work well for any period of time, I just prefer the best odds I can go with.
