My good friend, our good friend, Chris/Lonewolf just contacted me with the sad news of his mom's passing late last night.  She had been in failing health for some time and recently suffered a setback, so her family was able to gather and be with her these past few days.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Chris.  Thanks once again for being the incredible person you are!

I'm sorry to hear about your loss Chris.  I've never met you personnaly, but in reading your posts I can see what a generous and positive guy your are.  I'm sure your Mom was proud of you.

Peace to you and your family through this time.

Chris is one of the nicest guys I have ever met.  Unfailingly generous with his ideas, equipment, and time.  At every Rave, he brings L.I. wine for the host and makes CD's that match the hosts taste in music.  He truly is one of my favorite people on audiocircle.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Chris.  Your Mother must have been an amazing parent to have raised you.  I'm very sorry.

Chris,

Tho we've never met, I oftentimes forget as I consider you a friend, nonetheless.  I have a notion that there are more than a few of us here at AC that feel that way  :)

Keep the spirit up, brother...if your Mom had anything to do with that gracious and giving way that you have, you should be duly pleased to have been her son.  It's a gift that can only be due to nature and nurture.

Peace and well wishes.

When my mom passed last year I was surprised to hear all the comments about how generous she was.  I guess you take for granted that your mom is a nice person, but then I recalled telling her a couple of years ago that about the only thing I wanted of her's (after her passing) would be the cookie jar that always sat on top of the refrigerator.  It only got used for her homemade cookies and so I told her that it represented to me the love she had for me and my brother.  Thankfully that is exactly what I got for my next birthday.  And it has remained on display ever since.

Take it easy Chris.

Chris, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I only met you briefly at RMAF last year but that brief meeting left the same impression with me as I know others have, of a generous and caring individual.

Best wishes, especially during this trying time.

Hi Chris,

So sorry to hear the news.  I know when my father passed a little over a year ago, it was great to hear from everyone on AC, since we all become a type of extended family.

Keep your chin up and know we all care.

I know you are going through a lot right now Chris, and probably won't see all these supporting posts for a couple of days, at least. One of the best things that I remember when my mom passed was all of the support from friends, neighbors, family and on-line acquaintences. It truly is remarkable how caring and supportive everyone is at times like these.

Be sure to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Bob
