RadioIO Jazz. The best I have heard. Just have to keep the volume control handy as the station anouncements are VERY LOUD. I live in airwave distance of KPLU and have always found it to be a bit bland but that is a matter of personal taste.

Dan,

When does WRTI play jazz? Although they say they are a classical and jazz station, every time I have had it on it was playing classical music.

Here's a radio locator, it only lists std. radio stations though, you'll still need to visit the station's web page to see if they're streaming...

http://www.radio-locator.com/

This site claims to have over 2500 internet stations listed...

Another vote here for RadioIO. A surprisingly good one is Miami's FM jazz station, WDNA.

Val; I went to the WDNA web site and could not find the web address for the internet radio stream. Could you post that or tell me where I can find it?
   Thanks,

Dan, this is the direct link to Windows Music Player.

I had forgotten another favorite, my vote for Tacoma's KPLU too!

Thanks for the info. I've been listening the last few days and there's been a great variety of bands / artists and music.

The fidelity of RadioIO Jazz is not that bad, either. It sounds as though they might be using some processing to goose the dynamics, etc. I'm not sure, it just seems to sound "enhanced" a bit but not in a way that is objectionable.
