Are there any VMPS owners in upstate NY that would be willing to audition their speakers?

Check the dealer list on the Vmps website. I think Scott Mayo may be near you.

Hi Warner.

I checked Scott's location, he is about 4 & 1/2 hours away by car.

I was hoping for a little closer.

Thanks anyway.

Check here: http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=10789

It's a list of owner's that will let you come over to their homes for a listen. They're all over the country so hopefully someone will be close to you.

MHR,

I live near Boston MA and own a pair of VMPS RM40s.  If you would like to arrange an audition please PM me.

Thanks,

Just  30 min's outside of NYC.  Not very classy, but we got BBQ.

I'm in CT, which may or may not be near upstate NY, depending on how "upstate" you mean (NYCers think Westchester county is "upstate").  I have RM40s and an RM30C center channel, though, so it won't be a direct comparison.

I think the original poster stated he was form Western NY (Syracuse area).

Pretty far drive to CT or MA.

Sorry, George, I didn't see the Syracuse.  That would be a long drive.  Throw in traffic, and it would be heck.
