JBL control 1x speakers

I am thinking about getting a pair of the jbl control 1 speakers for my small computer desk along with a t-amp. How will the jbl's sound with the sonic impact t-amp? Is the amp strong enough to drive these speakers? If anybody has any experiece with the speakers any opinions about them would be appreciated.

No problem.

The Starting Block isn't really the "wrong" place, per se- but it's more for general questions. If you have questions about a specific model, etc the best place is usually one of the more specialized Circles.

Im still wondering if anybody has ever used these speakers before because they are pretty small which I need because i have a small desk and are very cheap. I am on a very tight budget right now around $130 to get a decent sounding computer system and a t-amp with these speakers would fit in my budget nicely. I also plan on using this to power the t-amp.

I've also eyed out these since I need some cheap speakers temporarily. The control 1 is £50 in London, but I also see there's the control 1x, or 1 xtreme. Does anyone know the difference between these?
