I have been looking at several options for a DAC. Some of them include Channel Islands, Lite Ah, Nixon, Van Alstine Omega III, and others that range from about $150 to $300. With other options being a stand alone CD player like the Music Hall tube or Cabridge Audio among others in the same price range.
I don't know what to be looking for to find the best symytry match. I run a Etesian pre, and Stratos Upgraded Monos not extreems. I have a simple Pioneer all in one player that got rave reviews, but requires a dac to sound the part.
Any help or suggestion as well as any opinions of what has worked well with your Odyssey gear would be great.
I have a group of guys coming to listen in a couple weeks and a few of them are looking forward to hearing my Odyysey set up and want to put my best foot forward and try to help Klaus make some new friends.
