Chassis dampening???

Chassis dampening???

Hi Jim,
In your post about the Classis Cornet you mentioned that they came with chassis' dampening. May enquire what you use and is it nessecary when you use the Lansing Chassis?
I should start my Cornet this weekend.

I add strips of rubber to the inside of the aluminum chassis to eliminate the "ping".  All chassis, no matter what they are (except for the Trumpet) benefit from additional vibration damping.  Same with tubes.
