Small single driver speaker designs

I am looking to build a pair of small single driver speakers for my lab. I was wondering if anyone knows of any small bookself designs? I would also be interested in a sensitve small vintage speaker.

I'm not sure how far you want to go with the cutting and building, but this small speaker kit provides flat panels and looks pretty interesting. The cabinet looks really solid.

thanks for the link. Does anyone have a link to a vented minimoniter theory page? Just to give me an idea of how to go about making one? What drivers(cheaper side it is for the lab) do you guys like?

The Audio Guild crossoverless monitors looks very good, the only thing I am afraid after reading it is "volume" one might get from such small driver.

The biggest issue that I find with single, crossoverless, fullrange drivers is the issue of "fullness" many designs being tilted up towards the midrange.

Has anyone heard this design?
