Candela...

Howdy folks-

I suspect that I am not the only one wondering about these two questions....suprised to be the first to ask, unless I missed them before. Anyway, waiting is tough, so I wanted to find out a couple things about the Candela:

1. Does anyone have an idea of approximate price for the new Candela? Roughly the same as the Tempest? More?

2. Is there a timeframe for when they will be offered up to the public? I see some folks basically saying they want it, but don't believe that they are actually being ordered, or sold yet.....

Thanks for any info you all can provide....really want some tubes...

From the original post from Klaus it'll be $895. Not sure on the timing though.

In the large Candela thread, Klaus twice mentioned that he had received quite a lot of preorders from ACers... 16 or so preorders in his second comment about it.

Not sure about the timing. Rosconey, who had ordered his before infomation was public, said that he'd be receiving his in a few weeks (in the Candela lighting my way thread), but I have no idea about later units.
