Who wants some Hed ?

Speakers that is....

I have these bigass boxes that used to be Hed speakers, who were an offshoot of Cerwin Vega. Got them from a guy I know a whle back and they are big solid boxes about 18" square by 29" or so high. Rear ported and they don't work.
I drug them home for free, and so can you! They have served well to hold up a door to work as a table, but I know they will be nothing more to me, and I've rammed my little toe into them too many times. NOT as heavy as the Altecs, i can pick them up.
If anyone has a project they might serve for, speak up!
They are 'cash and carry'. Hold onto your cash and carry them off for your own purposes.
Extra special people might even get them delivered if you have something to listen to when I get there and something cold to drink.

I'd hate to give them to the trashman, don't want them hanging around until the yard sale, and don't think I can clear the rear deck throwing them out the attic window.

Get them now or do this when they are gone!

Well, they may be 'fugly', but they are Willie's 'fugly' now!

And trust me, if anyone can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, it is him.
A little paint, some parts, and who knows!

Willie, you do anything you want with those boxes now, just don't make me want them back!

A very 'mini' review that it was a pleasant visit to the west side of the river, with great company, super music, a coupla brews

, and sound worth dying for. A terrific opportunty to hear the evolution of what Willie considers 'reference' and with good reason. Neato-torpedo!
It is nice to hear that we are reaching for the same things, except he knows how to build it!
After a hot live cut, you just wanna stand up and applaud!

I call it 'Willie-topia'....

My pleasure Fish ! It was a blast ! Went down to Broadway Osyter Bar afterward to catch Colonel Bruce Hampton and the Code Breakers. The Colonel was ill in and the hospital, but the Code Breaker kick some major booddy! got home before 1:00 though. I hope they come back again, what a show!
